Shammai Rockove, M.D., FACS
Dr. Rockove received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago Illinois. He completed his general surgery and urologic surgery training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He did his pediatric urologic surgery training at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. Doctor Rockove joined the faculty of urology at OHSU in 1995 where he was active in both clinical care and specialty research. Dr. Rockove is certified by the American Board of Urology and in 2011 became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr Rockove is a medical director of Providence, and was listed as a Top Doctor in both the 2011 Portland Monthly, US News and World Report. |
Kent Toland, M.D.
Dr. Toland graduated from medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1988. He completed his Urology residency at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado in 1993. He was in practice in Corvallis, Oregon until joining The Center for Men's and Women's Urology, LLC in 2008. Dr. Toland was board certified by the American Board of Urology in 1996 and re certified in 2006.

Melanie Crites-Bachert, D.O.
Dr. Crites-Bachert graduated from medical school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2003. She completed her residency for urologic surgery at the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey School in 2009. She is joining us from Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Florida. Dr. Crites-Bachert is active in research and has presented her work at specialty conferences both on the national and international level. Her work has also been published in leading Urological journals. Dr. Crites-Bachert was board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery in 2011. |

Cheri Springer, M.S., P.A. -C.
Cheri graduated with a master of science in physician assistant studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove in 2002. She also has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Oregon State University. Cheri is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has specialized in urology since 2002. She has also served as president of the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants. Cheri is considered an expert in pelvic floor disorders. |

Donna Anderson, M.S., P.A.-C.
Donna graduated with a master of science in physician assistant studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove in 2009. She also has an undergraduate degree in zoology from North Carolina State University. Donna is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. |

Administration

Theresa, Administrator
Theresa received her Bachelors degree from The University of Portland. She went on to complete a masters degree program in administration from Lewis and Clark College in 1986. She then taught in the Portland Public School District for 15 years after which she pursued a career in real estate. Following this, Theresa successfully helped create The Center for Men's and Women's Urology where she is currently enjoying her position as the Office Administrator. |
Kaitlyn, Administrative Assistant
Kaitlyn graduated in 2009 from Oregon State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. While most of her experience has been working in the coffee industry, she is enjoying working and learning more about the medical field and the administrative side of it. Kaitlyn was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, baking, photography, running, and hiking.

Natalie, Human Resources Coordinator
Natalie graduated from the University of Portland with a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship where she worked very diligently in student government. She is currently applying for her masters in business administration with an emphasis in Finance. Two of Natalie's greatest experiences at UP include studying abroad in Mexico in the summer of 2005 and London this past summer. Natalie grew up in Oregon and in her spare time enjoys snowboarding, spending time with her friends and family, golfing, and tennis. |

Julie, Billing Specialist
Julie graduated from the University of Portland where she earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting. She has over 8 years of experience in the field of medical office administration, which includes specialty and primary care clinics, and over 15 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience. A native Oregonian, in her spare time she enjoys cooking, mountain biking, hiking, tennis, and gardening, along with attending her children’s various sporting events. |
Naomi, Medical Billing Assistant
Naomi earned an AAS degree in the area of Medical Office Management in 2010 from Mt. Hood Community College. She is a Certified Professional Coder with the American Academy of Professional Coders. She enjoys many outdoor activities with her family including camping, hiking and fishing. |

Brenda, Medical Billing Assistant
Brenda is working toward her AAS degree in Medical Office Specialist and will be graduating this fall at Mt. Hood Community College. She is also certified in CPR. She enjoys helping her family out at the Farmers Market as well as watching movies and spending time with her family and friends. |

Trini, Medical Receptionist
Trini was born in Santa Ana, CA and moved to Oregon when she was 15 years old. She graduated from Everest Institute with a degree in Medical Assisting and is CPR certified. She plans on going back to school in the future to become a mid wife. In her spare time she likes spending time with family and friends, watching movies and bowling.

Christine, Medical Receptionist
Christine was born in Memphis, TN, and has lived in Pennsylvania and Maine. She moved to Oregon to attend the University of Oregon where she graduated in June 2011 with a BS in Advertising and a minor in Business Administration. She sang national anthems in high school and college before sporting events and in her spare time she enjoys camping, trips to the coast, and watching her sports teams dominate. |

Carol, Certified Medical Assistant
Carol completed her medical assistant training at Clackamas Community College in 2002. She is certified through The American Association of Medical Assistants certificate. She completed her internship in the family practice setting. She is certified in First Aide, CPR, is a member of the A.A.M.A., and has completed the Laborie training course in urodynamics. Carol enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and camping with her husband. She has a black belt in karate. |
Jolene, Certified Medical Assistant
Jolene completed her medical assistant training at Apollo College in 1995.
She spent 12 years in Ear, Nose, Throat/ Head & Neck Surgery before joining our group.
She is certified by and a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants. She
is also certified in First Aid and CPR. She enjoys volunteering for Meals-on-Wheels, camping
with her family and reading. |

Originally from Mexico, Ana has been living in Oregon for more than 10 years. She graduated with honors from Heald College in Medical Assisting and is CPR and First Aid certified. She plans to continue college in the future and would like to pursue a nursing degree. In her spare time she likes to dance, draw, and spend time with her family and friends. |
Larissa, Medical Assistant
Larissa completed her medical assistant training at Carrington College in May 2011. She is First Aid and CPR certified and has plans to become certified through the American Association of Medical Assistants. In her spare time she enjoys going to the movies, hanging out with friends and her fiancé, riding bikes, playing softball and taking her dogs to the river. |
