Nicholas Boncher, M.D., FACS

Dr. Boncher received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Michigan Medical School. Following this, he completed his urology residency at Case Western, in Cleveland, Ohio. He then completed his Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Male Reconstruction and Prosthetics. Dr. Boncher worked as the Director of Reconstructive Urology at the University of New Mexico as an assistant Professor as well as jointly managing reconstructive urology at the Veteran's Affairs hospital in Albuquerque before moving to Portland.

His expertise is in Men’s Health and he is a leader in this burgeoning area of Urology. He focuses on vasectomies, male voiding dysfunction including prostate enlargement, hypogonadism (low testosterone), erectile dysfunction, urethral strictures, as well as elevated PSA and cancers of the prostate, bladder or kidneys and the surgical management of kidney stones. Dr. Boncher is certified in minimally-invasive/robotic surgery and endoscopy in addition to traditional open surgery. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his wife, Julia, and son, Grayson.
