Community As a service to our patients and visitors, The Center for Men's and Women's Urology actively participates in the community we serve. Some of the organizations we have worked with include the Mt. Hood Community College Foundation, the Gresham Barlow Education Foundation, the Mt. Hood Medical Center Foundation, and many others. Here are highlights from recent The Center for Men's and Women's Urology community events. 2012: January 31 and February 21, Dr. Kent Toland's "Questions about prostate cancer? Join us at Edgefield for answers!" Presentations Dr. Toland will be presenting a free lecture at McMenamin's Edgefield entitled "PROSTATE CANCER AWARENESS AND MINIMALLY INVASIVE THERAPY". The event raised considerable funds for the beneficial programs and services of the Legacy Mount Hood Medical Center. 
2011 Staff Events: Farewell dinner for Krissy, April 28 We said farewell to Krissy, a long time employee at The Center for Men's and Women's Urology, on April 28, 2011. We wish you the best! 
2010 Bagels & Books Event (for the Gresham Barlow Education Foundation) In the fall of 2010 The Center for Men's and Women's Urology sponsored the Bagels & Books event for the Gresham Barlow Education Foundation. The event gathered incredible support from the community and gained library sponsors for local schools. The Gresham Barlow Education Foundation appreciated the sponsorship provided by The Center for Men's and Women's Urology and even provided this wonderful certificate of appreciation from Powell Valley Elementary School. 2010 Portland to Coast Relay Walk and Hood to Coast Relay In August of 2010 The Center for Men's and Women's Urology sponsored two relay teams, one for the Hood to Coast Relay (Timberline Lodge to Seaside, Oregon) and one for the Portland to Coast Relay Walk (a speed walk from Portland to Seaside, Oregon.) Each team consisted of twelve participants and at least three volunteers. Both teams did quite well in the relay, and fun times were had by all. Pictures from the events can be viewed below.
